News Trading

News trading is allowed, but trades opened/closed (either manually or automatically, such as via stop loss, take profit, or pending orders) within 2 minutes before or after high-impact news can generate a maximum profit of 1% of the account’s initial balance. Excess profits are removed without penalties. This applies to both challenge and funded phases.

Expert Advisors (EAs)

Yes, you can use them as long as the EAs comply with the prohibited trading practices rule. However, you are not allowed to use high-frequency trading (HFT) strategies / systems and/or Gold Arbitrage EA.

Copy Trading

Copy trading of any kind is strictly prohibited. Each account must be traded individually, and traders cannot duplicate trades or trade ideas, whether manually or via EA between accounts at any stage.

Inactivity Rule

Social Media & Public Conduct

Spreading false information or engaging in negative advertising about Goat Funded Trader on social media or public platforms is strictly prohibited. Violations result in:

Goat Guard is GFT's risk management tool for funded accounts (excluding instant funding), automatically closing all open trades if they reach a 2% loss to prevent excessive drawdowns.
This "soft breach" allows immediate continued trading, with no ban.
Triggering it once reduces profit split to 50%; a second time breaches the account fully.

Shared Device Usage

Traders are strictly prohibited from accessing or operating their account on any shared mobile or desktop device.
Detection of account activity from a shared device especially one linked to multiple user accounts will result in immediate disqualification from payout eligibility and may lead to account termination.
